About BOHR Omnibus GmbH

The history of our company started over 20 years ago. In 1986 the company BOHR Reisen was founded under the ownership of Günter Bohr, providing a general bus service for the public and schools and occasional coach hire. On January 1, 2000, this undertaking became BOHR Omnibus GmbH, now active in all areas of bus and coach travel. These include:

• Public service buses and school buses
• Coach tours and tourism
• Issue of our own travel catalogue
• Group and club outings
• Company outings
• Trade show, conference and event travel
• Coach and bus hire.

Right from the outset our family business has set great store by tradition, quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Providing a 100% service from our first point of contact to the conclusion of your journey has top priority at BOHR. We still understand the word "service" to be just that, namely catering for the requirements of each individual customer.

As our company continued to grow, our original site in Niederweiler was soon too small. As it wasn‘t possible to extend the existing building, we decided to relocate our firm to Lautzenhausen.

In the spring of 2002 we moved into our modern, ecologically furnished premises very close to Hahn Airport.

With the opening of our new BOHR Service Centre at the international airport in Frankfurt am Main in 2008, we are now able to offer our services throughout the entire Rhine-Main region.

We are extremely proud of our reliable, experienced and motivated personnel whom we need to help us perform our services and ensure that our high demands for quality are met.

The staff at our admin centre processing your enquiries and orders are all polite, friendly and experienced. Together with your personal representative we thus guarantee to provide you with individual and optimum advice right from the start. The coach and driver dispatcher can be reached round the clock (24 hours a day), thus guaranteeing a fast and professional reaction, particularly in the event of unforeseeable situations.

Our trained and dedicated chauffeurs are all experienced coach drivers who do their job gladly – and who, even now, are looking forward to ferrying you and your guests around. Our customers confirm time and again that our drivers handle their passengers both correctly, politely and with all due safety. We are particularly proud of this fact, for we want you to feel right at home on board our coaches!

By absolving regular safety courses our drivers know the limits of their vehicles and can guarantee passengers a defensive method of driving exercised with care and foresight.

You can enjoy a comfortable and safe journey aboard our modern, quality furnished coaches. With a fleet over 80 vehicles seating 6 to 70, we can supply the right coach for all sizes of group. Nearly all of our coaches are Mercedes-Benz EvoBuses.

A qualified master team services and checks our coaches in our own accredited repair garage. In this way we can guarantee you vehicles of a high standard of quality and safety. Our coaches are our company calling card and the core of our business – and we thus treat them accordingly. After a trip each coach is thus carefully checked, serviced and thoroughly cleaned so that it is in tip-top condition for its next journey.

The combination of many individual factors, our many years of experience in coach hire and travel and particularly the great personal commitment of both us and our staff make BOHR a reliable and competent partner for you in all aspects of the bus trade and personal transportation.
